Minor Supportive Characters Profiles

Naru Ōsaka

Naru Ōsaka is Usagi's best friend from school and made her first appearance in volume 1, act 1. She usually hangs out with Usagi, Umino and a few other people from her class, and she also has a younger sister named Naruru. Unlike Usagi, she is pretty smart, and she lives in a huge jewelry store called Osa-P together with her mother.

Gurio Umino

Gurio Umino is Usagi's extremely geeky friend that made his first appearance in volume 1, act 1. He is extremely smart, and does not hesitate to reveal that fact to people. He usually feeds Usagi with the latest news, whether it is plain gossip or information about Sailor V.

Yumiko

Yumiko is one of Usagi's friends and classmates and made very few appearances. She was usually seen together with Usagi, Naru, Umino and Kuri.

Kuri

Kuri is one of Usagi's friends and classmates and made extremely few appearances. She was sometimes seen together with Naru.

Haruna Sakurada

Haruna Sakurada first appeared in volume 1, act 1. She is Usagi's homeroom teacher and teaches English. She is young, quite strict and often scolds Usagi for her test results.

Phobos and Deimos

Phobos and Deimos are Rei Hino's two guardian crows that usually are seen hovering over the Hikawa Shrine. They first appeared in volume 1, act 3, when they attacked Usagi because of her strange aura. In volume 12, act 36, they finally show their true forms which consists of two small human-looking sprites. They presented themselves as Deimos and Phobos, and gave her a new transformation item, the Mars Crystal.
They did their second appearance in their human forms in volume 16, act 45, where it is revealed that they originally were soldiers in training at their homeplanet Coronis. They were killed by Sailor Lead Crow, the third Sailor Anima-Mate, in the same act.

Helios

Helios is the priest of Elysion, the place where Prince Endymion's now dead Golden Kingdom used to be. He lives inside the shrine together with the two Maenads and prays in order to protect the planet. He made his first appearance in volume 12, act 34, in the form of a winged unicorn going by the name Pegasus. He approached Chibi Usa and Usagi, searching for his maiden, and asked for her help. He later presented himself to Chibi Usa as Helios, the priest of Elysion, and told her he needed the Golden Crystal in order to save his land.

The Maenads

The Maenads first appeared in volume 14, act 40. They are the two priestesses that lives together with Helios in Elysion. They serve the shrine, and are first seen encased in crystal in order to protect them from the curse cast upon Elysion by Queen Nehellenia. In act 41 they reappear briefly, this time freed from the crystal that protected them.

Guardian Cosmos

Guardian Cosmos made her first and only appearance at the end of the manga in volume 18. She appeared inside the Galaxy Cauldron and introduced herself as Guardian Cosmos, the guardian and holy spirit of the Cosmos Seed. She asked Usagi if she wanted to create a new history of the stars, and asked if she wished to leave from the cauldron in those star forms. Usagi said that they wished to live together like they were and then were sent away from the cauldron.
