Haruka Ten'? is both a student and a professional race car driver. She goes to the Infinity School together with her girlfriend, Michiru Kai?. Haruka is a rather androgynous woman, with both female and male qualities. Naoko states Haruka as a "soldier of both genders" (not to be taken literally, of course). Haruka with her male clothing, short hair and tomboyish ways creates quite a contrast against her more graceful girlfriend Michiru. Haruka is almost always seen together with Michiru, as they are bound together strongly. She often plays piano accompaniment to Michiru's violin play. As a soldier she possesses great amounts of strength and makes a great combination together with Sailor Neptune.
