Death Busters Profiles
The Death Busters consists of Pharaoh 90, Mistress 9, Professor Tomoe, Kaolinite and the Witches 5: Eudial, Mimete, Tellu, Viluy, Cyprine and Ptilol. Their motive was to gather human souls in order to awaken their master, Pharaoh 90, in the pursue of the world's destruction.Pharaoh 90
Pharaoh 90 is the master of the Death Busters, an alien being that originally resided in the Tau star system. It wishes to merge with the Earth in order to transform it into a second Tau star system. In order to complete its transformation, it required enourmous amounts of energy and used the Death Busters as its tool in order to achieve its goal. Pharaoh 90 was stopped by Sailor Saturn and sealed away by Sailor Pluto.
Mistress 9
Mistress 9 is the being that was implanted into Hotaru's body. She was awakened in volume 9, act 30 after she took control over Hotaru's body and seized Chibi Usa's Silver Crystal. Mistress 9 disliked her human body and was particulary annoyed by her hair that would not stop growing. Mistress 9 was triumphant when she finally awakened, and she was greatly disturbed to find that the voice of Hotaru still echoed within her mind. She offered the Silver Crystal she had taken from Chibi Usa to Pharaoh 90, and ended up swallowing it in order to take part of its great power.
She approached Pharaoh 90 to give her master its power so he could transform. Hotaru stopped her, taking control of her body and confined
Mistress 9 inside of it. Hotaru returned the Silver Crystal to Chibi Usa. However, Pharaoh 90 had already recieved enough energy and began the process of merging with the planet. Mistress 9 attempted to leave her host, but found herself captured by Hotaru. She attempted to steal the souls of the sailor soldiers to gain more power, but was yet again stopped by Hotaru. In the end, Mistress 9 managed to leave her temporary body and headed towards her master to join the melting process. Mistress 9 was destroyed when Sailor Saturn emerged from her body.
Professor S?ichi Tomoe
Professor S?ichi Tomoe is Hotaru's father and a genetic scientist who made his first appearance in volume 8, act 25. His life work is super beings, a project that also made the scientific community reject him. He lost his wife Keiko, and almost his daughter in a fire and after coming in contact with Pharaoh 90, he decided that he was the chosen one and starts to follow the path of the Death Busters. In order to save Hotaru's life,
he experimented on his daughter, turning her into a cyborg, as well as implanting the egg of Mistress 9 into her. In volume 9, act 32, he transforms into a super being called Germatoid and is destroyed by Super Sailor Moon's "Rainbow Moon Heart Ache".
In the Materials Collection he is a refined professor that is about 35 years old. His pupils are hollow and dark and feels like they can't be seen. He always wears a white coat and glasses.
Kaolinite
Kaolinite first appeared in volume 7, act 24 and posed as Professor Tomoe's assistant, Kaori Kuromine. She lived together with Professor Tomoe and his daughter, Hotaru. As a member of the Death Busters, she has the level of Magus, which all of the Witches 5 desires. As a Magus she can communicate with Pharaoh 90 and use the Taioron Crystal. She was the first member to come in contact with Pharaoh 90, when she was struck by lightning during a thunderstorm. She was destroyed in volume 9, act 31 by Super Sailor Moon's "Rainbow Moon Heart Ache".
In the Materials Collection her civilian form, Ms Kaori, is said to be a secretary and an assistant. She wears a white coat that comes down to her knees, but also appears wearing a red revealing outfit. She is described to be a sexy, adult lady who is about 28 years old.
When she poses as Kaolinite she wears a black velvet dress with rouge velvet lining. She also wears black high heeled shoes and black earrings.
Mimete
Mimete is a member of the Witches 5 and has the level of 40. She is one of the creations of Professor Tomoe's many experiments. She first appears in volume 8, act 26, posing as the famous idol Mimi Hany?, as well as the president of the acting class at the Infinity School. Her plot involved holding a concert at the Infinity Academy, and then steal the souls of the audience. She used Michiru Kai? in order to bring more people to the school. Minako, the eternal idol chaser, went to her concert and found out what she plotted and transformed into Sailor Venus. Venus used her powers to wake up the audience and then proceeded to attack Mimete with her "Wink Chain Sword", which was countered by
Mimete's death move, Charm Buster. The other sailor soldiers arrived to the scene, and Mimete begged Kaolinite to send a monster to aid her. The monsters were quickly destroyed, and Mimete lost her life, hit by Sailor Uranus' "World Shaking".
In the Materials Collection she carries a staff that stars comes out from when she casts spells. She uses love magic and the power of charm (she turns people into captives). Since she is an idol, a bimbo voice is good for her.
Eudial
Eudial is a member of the Witches 5 and has the level of 78. She is one of the creations of Professor Tomoe's many experiments. She first appeared in volume 8, act 25, posing as Y?ko Arimura, the instructor of the philosophy class on etiquette. She went to Infinity Academy's new camp in the mountains in order to teach her students the rules of conduct, and to gather their souls for Pharaoh 90. The sailor soldiers, who also
were visiting the mountain, quickly found out what was going on and attacked her. Sailor Mars attacked her with "Mars Snake Fire" which caused Eudial to transform into a monster. She was finally destroyed by Sailor Moon's "Moon Spiral Heart Attack".
In the Materials Collection, she is called the warrior of flame. Her hair becomes flame and she carries a red staff. Her death move is called Fire Buster.
Viluy
Viluy is a member of the Witches 5 and has the level of 202. She is one of the creations of Professor Tomoe's many experiments. She first appeared in volume 8, act 27 and posed as the student Yui Bid? at Infinity Academy. She invited Ami to the school and waited for her in the 9th grade's science class. She presented a model of the Tau System and told her that each grade at the Infinity Academy was divided into five classes. She said that the most gifted students, like herself, were able to lead lectures besides the professors. As Ami wandered around at the school, Kaolinite felt the energy she emitted thanks to her being a sailor soldier. Viluy told her she'd take care of her and approached Ami in the basement research room. She revealed her plan of using the school's
computers in order to collect the souls of humans for her master, Pharaoh 90, and then give the empty bodies to her allies as vessels. She fought against Sailor Mercury and met her demise at the hands of Sailor Uranus' Space Sword.
Viluy had various powers, such tearing apart bodies using nano machines with her death move, Mosiac Buster. She also had the power to turn the students into her slaves.
In the Materials Collection she is a conjurer of nanotech. She analyzes everything and carries a light blue staff that she uses to freeze her enemies. She also wear a mosaic hat that has a mirror attached to it.
Tellu
Tellu is a member of the Witches 5 and has the level of 404. She is one of the creations of Professor Tomoe's many experiments. She posed as the instructor of Infinity Academy's physical education classes as well as the botanical gardens. In her civilian form she used the name Ruru Teruno and she first appeared in volume 8, act 28. Her plot was to gather human souls using special plants called Tellurians that she developed. The plants would make the people who bought it sleepy, and it would then steal their souls and bloom into a flower using their energy. She was then going to give the flowers to her master, Pharaoh 90. Her evil scheme was ruined by Makoto who got suspicious of the new flower and began to
investigate it. Approaching Tellu, the sailor soldiers fail to cause any damage to her. Sailor Chibi Moon's power evolved during the battle, and she used "Pink Sugar Heart Attack" against her, which caused her to turn into a monster. Sailor Pluto finally destroyed her with "Dead Scream".
Tellu's main powers consisted of being able to control plants, as well as using her death move, Mandragora Buster, which emitted vines from her hands.
In the Materials Collection she uses plants and possesses the ability to turn plants into monsters. She also carries a green staff that can transform into a vine.
Cyprine and Ptilol
Cyprine and Ptilol are members of the Witches 5 and have the level of 999. They are one of the creations of Professor Tomoe's many experiments and first appeared in volume 9, act 29. Cyprine and Ptilol are identical and they are together one person. Ptilol is the second half, or duplicate of Cyprine.
Cyprine assaulted Haruka at her apartment and caused hail to fall over the town, which made the inhabitants fight each other senselessly. When the other sailor soldiers arrived in order to assist Sailor Uranus, Cyprine used her powers to magnify their negative feelings and made them fight among themselves. Sailor Moon attacked her using "Moon Spiral Heart Attack", but failed as Cyprine split into two. The Holy Grail was formed during the battle, and Sailor Moon transformed into Super Sailor Moon and destroyed the witch using "Rainbow Moon Heart Ache".
In the Materials Collection Cyprine is the older sister, while Ptilol is the younger sister. The two of them are always one twin, and they split in two when fighting. Cyprine is the surface, and Ptilol is the shadow. The twins uses monsters and staffs to lash with. Cyprine carries a blue-violet staff, while Ptilol carries a brown staff.
