Dead Moon Profiles

The Dead Moon consists of Queen Nehellenia, Zirconia, Zircon, Fisheye, Hawk's-eye, Tiger's-eye, Cere Cere, Palla Palla, Ves Ves, Jun Jun and Xenotime and Zeolite. Their desire was to possess the Earth and the Silver Crystal, as well as eventually rule the entire universe.

Queen Nehellenia

Queen Nehellenia is the ruler of the Dead Moon and is first seen in volume 12, act 36. She desired the Silver Crystal for her own, as she thought of herself as its rightful owner. She was sealed away in the past by Queen Serenity when she appeared at the celebration of Princess Serenity's birth. She came uninvited and and was offered peace by Queen Serenity, but rejected it. The queen sealed her into a mirror, but Nehellenia casted a curse upon the Silver Millenium as she vanished.
After she had been sealed away, Zirconia eventually awakened her, but she was still captured inside of the mirror. Using the Dead Moon Circus to do her biddings, she conquered Elysion and captured the priest, Helios. After a successful attempt to retrieve the Silver Crystal in volume 15, she was defeated and sealed back into the mirror by the combined powers of the sailor soldiers.

In the Materials Collection, she has dumplings on her head like Usagi. The material for her hair ornament is glass, and a black mirror is attached to the center. The three crescent moons that are attached to the hair ornament and earrings have no color besides one that is yellow. Queen Nehellenias mirror is always pitch black and does not reflect anything. It is placed in the room of Queen Nehellenia of the world of the new moon, the Dead Moon, and in the room of the leader of the Dead Moon Circus, Zirconia. They can look into each other's world and possibly see the reflection of Sailor Moon and the others, or the location of Helios and Elysion.

Zirconia

Zirconia serves Queen Nehellenia and is the leader of the Dead Moon Circus and first appeared in volume 12, act 34. She often speaks with her queen through the mirror, and commands the Amazones Quartetto. After the Amazones Quartetto's many failures, she sealed them back into their stones. Zirconia was sealed back into the mirror along with her queen in volume 15.

In the Materials Collection she is the leader of the Dead Moon Circus. She is called an "old maid" by the Amazones Quartetto and has been alive for thousands of years. She is stingy, nagging, misery and treacherous. She carries a staff that is like a tree, and she also has a messenger spirit called Zircon. The insides of Zirconia's cloak is like an insect body without flesh and her face is full of wrinkles. The face drawn outside of the cloak speaks and was made to speak as an oracle of Queen Nehellenia who is in the world inside the new moon.

Zircon

Zircon is Zirconia's companion and first appeared in volume 12, act 34. It is usually seen floating around Zirconia's staff, but can also be used to gather images of beautiful dreams, used as a weapon or as a tool of spying.

In the Materials Collection it is Zirconia's messenger spirit and it flies around spewing flame. Zirconia can use Zircon to look spy at her enemies.

Fisheye

Fisheye first appeared in volume 12, act 35 and is part of the Amazon Trio. His true form is that of a fish, but he was turned into a human by Palla Palla in order to become a servant of the Dead Moon Circus. He carries a mirror with which he can locate the sailor soldiers. He targeted Ami, reverted back into a fish and was put into a tropical fish store by Palla Palla. Palla Palla sold him to Ami, and after she fell asleep, he captured her into his nightmare. Ami managed to break out from the evil dream, and Fisheye was quickly destroyed by Super Sailor Moon's and Super Sailor Chibi Moon's "Moon Gorgeous Meditation".

In the Materials Collection he is a tropical fish which is kept at the circus. He is part of the transvestite trio, the Amazon Trio. On his forehead he has the symbol of the Dead Moon and he has webs and scales on his hands. He acts as a ball-balancing girl at the circus, but he is very clumsy. He dreams of being the best ball-balancing girl in the world. He always gets teased by Tiger's-eye and Hawk's-eye and then cries. His age is about that of a high school senior.

Tiger's-eye

Tiger's-eye first appeared in volume 12, act 34. His true form is that of a tiger, but he was turned into a human by the Amazones Quartetto in order to become a servant of the Dead Moon Circus. He approached Rei inside a house of mirrors and attempted to capture her in his dream. As he was about to devour Rei, he was stopped by her two guardian crows. After Rei transformed into Sailor Mars, she destroyed him using "Mars Flame Sniper".

In the Materials Collection he is a tiger which is kept at the circus. He is part of the transvestite trio, the Amazon Trio. As a human he acts very flashy, like a wild animal. He is an ambitious man, and his dream is to someday become world famous. He wears fur whether it is summer or winter, and he appears imitating a rock artist. He is not a pro wrestler and his age is about that of a high school senior.

Hawk's-eye

Hawk's-eye first appeared in volume 12, act 34. His true form is that of a hawk, but he was turned into a human by the Amazones Quartetto in order to become a servant of the Dead Moon Circus. He disguised himself as a store owner and Makoto and Chibi Usa met him while he was in town searching herbs. He tells them he wanted a store like that ever since he was a little girl, and that his dream was to open stores all across the world. He gave them rings as gifts before they left, but they were actually tools used to capture them in nightmares. When Makoto visited the store a second time, Hawk's-eye attempted to capture her, but he was defeated by her "Jupiter Oak Evolution" when she broke free from his spell.

In the Materials Collection he is a hawk which is kept at the circus.He is part of the transvestite trio, the Amazon Trio. As a human he has the feeling of Zoisite having gained ten years of experience and become independent. He acts as a fire-breathing man at the circus and he wears a lot of safety pins. Square diamonds are embedded in his forehead, and his dream is to someday have a shop in Las Vegas or Ginza, as well as becoming a bar madam. His age is about that of a high school senior.

Cere Cere

Cere Cere made her first appearance in volume 12, act 34. Her true identity is that of Sailor Ceres, but while she was in slumber deep in the Amazon, Queen Nehellenia sensed the power of her star and enslaved her in the Dead Moon nightmare. As a part of the Dead Moon Circus she works as a trapeze artist and is a part of the Amazones Quartetto. She was reverted back into a stone by Zirconia as she approached Sailor Saturn who understood who she really was.

In the Materials Collection she is the eldest sister, she is tall and has light skin. She is part of the Amazones Quartetto. She is ill-tempered and sexy. She scatters flowers while she is on a swing in the air at the circus and uses flowers. She is also known as "Ceres".

Jun Jun

Jun Jun made her first appearance in volume 12, act 34. Her true identity is that of Sailor Juno, but while she was in slumber deep in the Amazon, Queen Nehellenia sensed the power of her star and enslaved her in the Dead Moon nightmare. As a part of the Dead Moon Circus she works as a tightrope walker and is a part of the Amazones Quartetto. She was reverted back into a stone by Zirconia as she approached Sailor Saturn who understood who she really was.

In the Materials Collection she is the third sister, and her skin is the darkest of the four sisters. She works as an acrobat at the circus and rides a motorcycle afterwards. She is vulgar and a yankee, and she uses male speech when speaking. She is also known as "Juno".

Ves Ves

Ves Ves first appeared in volume 12, act 34. Her true identity is that of Sailor Vesta, but while she was in slumber deep in the Amazon, Queen Nehellenia sensed the power of her star and enslaved her in the Dead Moon nightmare. As a part of the Dead Moon Circus she works as an animal tamer and is a part of the Amazones Quartetto. She was reverted back into a stone by Zirconia as she approached Sailor Saturn who understood who she really was.

In the Materials Collection she is the fourth sister and works as an animal tamer for elephants, hippos, bears, horses, camels and lions at the circus. Her skin is a bit darker than Jun Jun's and she uses a whip. She is also known as "Vesta".

Palla Palla

Palla Palla first appeared in volume 12, act 34. Her true identity is that of Sailor Pallas, but while she was in slumber deep in the Amazon, Queen Nehellenia sensed the power of her star and enslaved her in the Dead Moon nightmare. As a part of the Dead Moon Circus she juggles balls on a unicycle in the circus and is a part of the Amazones Quartetto. She is very childish, and sees their assignments more as games than real missons. She was reverted back into a stone by Zirconia as she approached Sailor Saturn who understood who she really was.

In the Materials Collection she is the second sister, and she is very short. At the circus she juggles balls on a unicycle. She is a ball-balancing girl that uses balls. She is a bimbo, childish and a crybaby. She is also known as "Pallas".

Xenotime and Zeolite

Xenotime and Zeolite first appeared in volume 13, act 38. The two of them are identical, besides for the fact that Xenotime's outfit has a darker checked pattern than Zeolite. They were called upon by the Amazones Quartetto and targeted Minako. They scouted her for a talent audition and the contestants of the show got targeted as well. Xenotime and Zeolite both used daggers that they threw against the sailor soldiers. Both of them were unable to defeat Sailor Venus, and were destroyed by her "Love and Beauty Shock".
